Boat trip on the Rio Preguica

On July 13th we took a boat trip along the Rio Preguica, visiting an isolated beach on the South Atlantic, near Parque Nacional Lencois Maranheses. The beach was wonderful, with few people and clear blue water. The small boat wound through enormous and lush mangroves, providing us a chance to appreciate some of the distinctive wildlife in the northeast of Brazil.
