Arrival in Sao Luis (kind of)

After a long day, 8 of the 14 members of our group made it to Sao Luis. The others were victims of overbooking by the airline, and will arrive shortly! Our week in Sao Paulo concluded with visits to BCG, Morgan Stanley, and Banco Itau, as well as stops at the city's major museums. Sao Luis is quite different from Sao Paulo, located in the heart of the tropics close to the equator. Our hotel is close to the ocean, but so far the humidity and the rain has prevented us from enjoying our location. We are looking forward to visiting Alcoa, the Port of Sao Luis, and ofcourse the famous Lencois Maranheses. We'll head out for Porto Alegre at the end of this week.
